Teachers presented their experience together with some of the students who had joined the laboratories describing how engaging and interesting it was especially because students felt to be the owner and real protagonists of the learning experience. The videos of the 4 laboratories along with the final products (i.e. robots, posters, paper and online materials) were also shown to the audience.

Moreover, there was a focus on the connection between STEAM and inclusion and the way we experimented a learning environment that facilitated cooperation, engagement, and equity within all students.

The participants had the opportunity of deepening their knowledge skills and competences about STEAM education and were encouraged to create multidisciplinary, student-centered learning experience; in fact, most of them would recommend STEAM to other colleagues. They all appreciated the project’s main goals and agreed with the need to develop and experiment STEAM practices and innovative teaching methods to enable students use those soft skills and competences that are of strategic importance for employability.
